The campaign of Laxminarayan women agricultural cooperative organization: 'women empowerment'

The
programme to analyse the condition of women empowerment organization and
preparing strategy letter was organized at Wami Taxar Gulmi on Sunday.
The
programme was organized by the office of women and children Gulmi and concerned
on LaxmiNarayan Women Agriculture Cooperative Organization Wami Gulmi.
The
programme was over on the presidentship of chairperson of cooperative Yamuna
Ghimire, while Prative Panthi Chief of office of women and children Gulmi was
chief guest there.
In
that programme, there was the special attendance of Ex Chairperson DilKumari
Malla, Wami President of Nepali Congress Sudarshan Shakya, Wami chairman Of CPN
UML GopiKrishna Kharel, CPN Maoist Wami Chairperson Bhuwan KC, representative
of Rastriya Janamorcha Sundar Pradhan, Rudrawati Multiple Campus Wami
management committee chairman Mahesh GC, Member duo Krish Prasad Sapkota,
Dilaram Kharel, Wami Agro service centre chief Birendra Rawat.
Meanwhile,
Wami Agriculture cooperative centre secretary TejNarayan sapkota, Radio
Puspanjali's Station Coordinator Anish
Sharma Gaire, Cooperative's Bishnu Shrestha and other women members were
present there.
The
programme was inaugurated by the chief guest and president and hosted by
Secretary Tulsi Malla.
Where,
cooperative's treasurer Kamala Kharel had given welcome speech.
There,
Special guests Shakya, Kharel, KC, Pradhan, GC, Sapkota, Rawat had given
greeting speech.
And
the programme had felicitated Dil Kumari Malla, the Ex-chairperson of
cooperative for doing many bests for the organization.
Laxmi Narayan women
agricultural cooperative organization is doing different agricultural
activities in Wami for the sake of women members. Its main
campaign is to take women out from being limited in daily chores, and other
household activities. Their main work for women is to make them self depended
and empowered. It has started various agricultural activities like potato farming,
bee keeping, cardamom farming, and orange farming and so on.
Cooperative has been doing
many admirable and altruistic works for women empowerment. It has been doing
bee keeping in Wami 8 Malarani And Puranagaun. Similarly they have
been doing paddy seed production programme in Wami 9 Shera, and
started Haat Bazzar in Wami 1 Paltar and they
have managed spice factory in Wami.It has got fame in the short time of establishment. And people are praising it and it has become the centre for women empowerment. It was registered ascooperative in 2070 legally. And it has made 522 women members.
